The idea of this page is to keep you up to date with what is happening at Kerr Cottage and also in and around Dalbeattie.
Building work on our new sun room has started - we are at the point where the roof is going on this week - they will then remove the old conservatory. New fire has been chosen and is on order
This year is the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic and there will be a summer of events in Dalbeattie to remember those who died. First Officer Murdoch came from Dalbeattie and there is a plaque in his memory on the town hall. Further details of events to follow.
Every Monday in the Kings Arms there is a quiz - it starts at 8-30pm and lasts for just over an hour - it's a fun evening and even we can answer 70% of the questions which proves they're not too difficult.
Scottish Country Dancing takes place every Tuesday evening 7-30pm till 9-30pm at Kippford Village hall - everyone welcome and you don't need a partner.
Monday afternoons there is a Tea Dance in the Town Hall from 2pm till 4pm - Modern Sequence Dancing - it's a friendly bunch and you'll be made very welcome.
